I was doing some freelance writing when I came upon this site called as SocialADR. I got curious and sign up for a free user account. It turned out that it is a great way to have your website/blog gain more traffic and visitors therefore monetizing from ads and marketing to potential customers would be easier. The great thing is that you can do the marketing and traffic generating without any effort at all. But of course it will cost you some amount of money.
As mentioned, I signed up for a free account. Free account users are the one who do the job for the lazy account users. (Lazy account is their term for premium accounts). If you are still confused on what SocialADR really does, let me elaborate further.
You know the power of social media like Facebook, Twitter and Google+, right? SocialADR utilizes these social media and other social networking sites to promote the websites of its members through bookmarking service. The members will like, tweet and plus the links shown in the queue. The “lazy” account users will just pay some premiums and their links and websites will be promoted in an instance. I just loved playing different types of video games since I was a kid. I grew up playing those video game computers where you insert a one peso coin for three minutes worth of playing. My uncle’s business is creating these stuffs. But my cousins and I can’t play for free. How sad!
I remembered when I was around four years old, my uncle who lives in the house next to us had a family computer which he let other people to use in exchange of a fee. I just forgot how much he charged his customers. Every afternoon, I would stay in his house and watched other people played various games such as Super Mario, Pacman and Contra. Of course, as technology evolves, my uncle’s business also evolved.
One of my favorite arcade games is Mortal Kombat. I also loved playing Street Fighters and Capcom vs Marvel. But now, I am addicted to Candy Crush, Pou and Castle Defense. I just love my Android phone.
Whenever I travel, I always make sure I have two goals — business and pleasure. I remembered the time when my cousin invited me to join him to go to Ligao City, an adjacent city of our hometown Tabaco City in Albay. The ride is around 30 minutes.
His main purpose of going to the said city was to purchase some coffee powder for his coffee machine business. My business was to accompany him. But with due respect, we had also a hidden agenda: to enjoy watching the greenery in the countryside.
During our trip to Ligao City, we were looking for possible photo shoot venues. We marked those places that we would stop by to capture some wonderful photos. These places included the scene where Mount Mayon can be seen at its grandest. But the weather did not allow us to take a peek of Her. It was a bit cloudy in Her side. Maybe she was being shy at that time.
I really enjoyed our road trip at that time. I loved the feeling of the wind brushing my face and hair at the same time. I loved the sight of the trees, mountains and mountain range as well as the smell of fresh air.
As of now, we are still planning our next road trip. Where should to go?

I have an aunt who lives in the United States and every time she visits the Philippines, she would bring lots of presents and gifts to everyone. When I was twelve, she brought me a Game Boy Color with Pokemon Crystal as the Game Pak. Unfortunately, my favorite game console got broken.
After ten year, she brought me another surprise present. This time it is a mobile phone. Sony Experia Play to be exact. However, the phone can’t be used in the Philippines because it is locked by Verizon. I asked around and inquired to some cellphone technicians (though I am a technician). The phone can’t be fixed or set to work in the networks available in the country. Good thing, this smartphone can still be used without any sim card or network set. I can still surf the internet with the use of WiFi.
The best part of having this Xperia Play is being able to play my favorite Game Boy game which is Pokemon. I installed a Game Boy Advance emulator and a Game Boy Color emulator in the phone and downloaded some ROMs of various Pokemon versions such as Green Leaf, Fire Red, Silver, Gold and Emerald. Having this Xperia Play is like having my old Game Boy Color back, But this time, it is much better. There is a camera available to take pictures.
Gambling runs in my vein. My heritage is proud of its bloodline of gamblers. Well, we do it for fun and for money. I learned using the playing cards as a toy when I was eight years old. Playing cards were our means of entertainment back then. When I was twelve, I started gambling with my mother as my opponent. Luckily, I won some money. Since then, whenever there are family gatherings and reunions, gambling is part of our family’s activity.
I just miss the taste of this delightful hamburger with some french fries to satisfy my hunger. I just remember the days when I still got my precious laptop. I would go to restaurants and order my meal and do my stuff in writing in order to earn some dollars. I felt I was a true-blooded freelance writer — doing my work anywhere and anytime I want. I just miss my precious laptop. So sad it was stolen.
